Independence Day...... In lighter vein, I have heard a lot of people, especially youngsters say, Yeh, it is Independence Day again, another dry day, what do we do ?! For many others, its a holiday, theres is the symbolic flag hoisting, distribution of sweets, someone makes a speech, children sing patriotic songs. And then we forget all the sacrifices of all the great leaders, especially the Father of the Nation, without whom, we would not have gotten independence....and we also tend to forget the invaluable treasure they gave us. Let me be proud to tell you, there is no country in the world that gives you this kind of seamless freedom. It is our duty to protect and preserve this ! Jai Hind.....
