Independence must be guarded and fought for vigorously on all fronts. Threats can come in many ways and forms. Even in our own Power Industry, those threats can come silently. Without independence and sustainability, can we really say we are truly independent? All our fuel needs for our power industry today are from abroad, except for the hydropowered dams. We must strive to be truly independent and sustainable.
