India News: Jodhpur Clash - 2 Punjab Police officers among 30 booked Two gunmen, Tejinder Singh and Head Constable Nishan Singh, and 28 followers of the Noormehal Dera have been booked for the violent clash at Jodhpur village near Tarn Taran. Among the accused are Tejinder Singh’s wife Rajwinder Kaur, their son Lovepreet Singh, Harjit Singh Fauji, Balkar Singh, Rinku, Sucha Singh, Gagandeep Singh and 14 others. All of them have absconded. With the situation still tense, policemen in strength have been deployed in the village. the Superintendent of Police (Investigation), Rashpal Singh Ghuman, said 70 policemen were manning different points. Also, a riot control vehicle had been stationed at the village. The Sri Akal Takht Sahib Jathedar and members of Sikh organisations yesterday visited the area and criticised dera supporters for “attacking innocent Sikhs”. Sikh women from the village held a dharna at the deputy commissioner’s office in Tarn Taran to lodge their protest. ਸਿੱਖ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੋ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਗਿ੍ਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ, 29 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ : ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨੀਂ ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਜੋਧਪੁਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਨੂਰਮਹਿਲੀਏ ਦੇ ਪੈਰੋਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਦੋ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਹੇਠ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਗੋਲੀ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਿ੍ਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ | ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਥਾਣਾ ਸਦਰ ਦੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੀਆਂ 9 ਔਰਤਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ 29 ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਿਖ਼ਲਾਫ਼ ਇਰਾਦਾ ਕਤਲ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਧਾਰਾਵਾਂ ਤਹਿਤ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ | ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਦੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲਿਟੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿਖੇ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਭਾਈ ਅਮਰੀਕ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੁਖੀ ਦਮਦਮੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਅਜਨਾਲਾ ਨੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਬਿਆਨਾਂ ‘ਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿੰਡ ਜੋਧਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਪਿੰਡ ‘ਚ ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਫੌਜੀ ਦੇ ਘਰ ‘ਚ ਦਿਵਯ ਜਯੋਤੀ ਜਾਗਿ੍ਤੀ ਸੰਸਥਾਨ ਵਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ‘ਤੇ ਉਹ ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੁਝ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਫੌਜੀ ਦੇ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਵਿਖੇ ਘਰ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ, ਜਦ ਉਹ ਫੌਜੀ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਦੂਰ ਹੀ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਉਥੇ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਇੱਟਾਂ-ਰੋੜੇ ਚਲਾਉਣੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਤੇ ਬਾਅਦ ‘ਚ ਆਸ਼ਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੇ ਦੋ ਗੰਨਮੈਨ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੇ ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਸਿੱਧੀਆਂ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਚਲਾਈਆਂ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ 9 ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਹੋਰ ਸਮਰਥਕ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ |
