India is still waiting....... This beautiful young lady is India, a 2 year old pit mix that would love a wonderful home of her own. India came to us from the south with some of her friends when her time ran out in an overcrowded shelter. We are so happy to have this loving and outgoing young lady and hope to find her the great home that she deserves soon. India is mostly deaf, but you would never know it. She gets around perfectly fine and is well behaved too. India sits politely and walks nicely on a leash, so someone must have given her some training at some point. India gets your attention right away with her stunning good looks and her pleasant disposition. Shes very ladylike when you go to see her, and she only lets her hair down when she goes for playtime in our giant exercise yard. India and can run and fetch with the best of them, but mostly prefers to roam around, checking out her surroundings and getting attention from you. She just loves people and makes friends easily. India gets along well with other dogs and was kenneled with one, but we separated them for playing a little too rough. In close quarters, India can be a little too playful for another dog but in a home, she may be perfectly fine.
