Indian Coast Guard invites 10+2 candidates for Navik (General Duty). Apply Online within 07/07/2013 Indian Coast Guard is inviting application from 10+2 candidates who meets the below laid criteria, to join as “NAVIK (GENERAL DUTY)”. Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Physical Efficiency Test followed by Medical examination. Interested candidates may apply Online within below scheduled date. Eligibility norms is given below in brief — INDIAN COAST GUARD INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION TO JOIN AS NAVIK (GENERAL DUTY). APPLY FROM 24/06/2013 TO 07/07/2013 NAVIK (GENERAL DUTY) Batch — 01/2014 Eligibility: 10+2 with 60% marks aggregate in total and minimum 60% in each subject of Maths and Physics. (5% relaxation in the above percentage for SC/ ST candidates, sports person of National level and wards of Coast Guard uniform personnel deceased while in service) Age Limit: Candidates must be born between 01 Feb, 92 to 31 Jan, 96. Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates. Emolument: Starting emoluments on completion of training Rs. 20000/-(approx) including perks per month. Selection of the candidates will be through written and physical efficiency tests, followed by medical examination. The recruitment process will be carried State wise. For Examination centre see the Advt. (link given below) Branches of Navik(General Duty) are Seaman, Communication, Aviation, Store , Writer and Mechanical/Electrical.
