STATEMENT OF THE ANCHOR OF ABP HINDI NEWS CHANNEL IN PESHAWAR ARMY SCHOOL SHOOT OUT STORY CARRIED OUT YESTERDAY 16TH DEC. NA HINDU NE MAARA, NA YAHOODI NE MAARA, “MUSALMAANO NE MAARA” As we all know that TERRORISTS have no religion and all intellectuals, philosophers and world leaders share the same opinion and Islam denounces all such activities against humanity The Indian Muslims always stood with India in any such terrorist or extremist attacks. The bodies of the 26/11 terrorists who were killed by the Indian commando’s were not accepted to be buried on Indian soil by the Indian Muslims. Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) said if any person kills and innocent it is as if he killed the whole humanity and if any person saves the life of an innocent, it is as if he saved the whole humanity. The Indian Muslims and Muslims all over the world always condemned such barbaric and heinous acts globally whether it is done by a person carrying on a Muslim name or of any other religion. Many a time such derogatory statements had come up by ABP news and we thought it might be by mistake, but this statement, “ Hindu ne nahi maara, Yahoodhi ne nahi maara, MUSALMANO NE MAARA” very clearly shows their modus operandi of communalization of such issue and setting a bad precedence in the eyes of general public, thus creating hatred against the Muslim Community. The Media have the responsibility of carrying on facts but by not disturbing the peaceful atmosphere of the society and by upholding the ethics of journalism. We demand a public apology by the ABP news channel for maligning the image and hurting the sentiments of the Muslim community or else Indian Union Muslim League along with its like minded organizations will pursue agitation and legal action against the news channel.
