Indian doesn’t want peace in south Asia: Pervez Shah Islamabad, September 29: The spokesman of AJK Chapter of the forum patronised by the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, and leader of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement (JKDPM), Advocate Pervez Ahmad Shah has said that Indian doesn’t want durable peace in South Asia by prolong the Kashmir dispute. Advocate Pervez Ahmad Shah in a statement issued in Islamabad, criticising the Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, said that, on one side, India wanted talks with Pakistan and, on the other, terming Kashmir as part of India. He said that India had no right to term Kashmir as its part as it was a disputed territory reconised by the international community including India, adding that the Indian prime minister, Jawaharlal Nehru had taken the dispute to the United Nations in 1948 and promised with the people of Kashmir to give them their right to self-determination. Advocate Pervez Ahmad Shah said that contrary to the speech of Manmohan Singh, the address of Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to the General Assembly was appreciated by the entire world. He said that Pakistan wanted settlement of Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations and wished permanent peace in the region.
