Indian rupee opens weaker The Indian rupee opened weaker at 60.11 per USD today morning as against its previous close of 60.07 tracking weakness in other Asian currencies against the US dollar. However, a higher opening in the domestic equity market capped the rupee’s losses. The markets await the US Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellens congressional testimony tonight for signals as to when the US interest rates might head higher. Traders expect the rupee to hold in a range of 59.50-60.50.
