Indiana Conservation Officers are reporting that a hunting without consent complaint led to the arrest of a Washington man Thursday night. Dustin M. Troutman (40) of Washington was arrested and booked into the Daviess County Security Center. Wednesday December 10th 2014 the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to a hunting without consent complaint in southern Daviess County. Information was gathered at the scene and turned over to Indiana Conservation Officers. An investigation resulted in an arrest warrant being issued and served for hunting without consent and criminal trespassing, both Class C Misdemeanors. Indiana Conservation Officers would like to remind all hunters that it is their responsibility to obtain permission from property owners before hunting. All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.
