Indiana Conservation Officers have just learned that the victim in the accident on Big Chapman Lake has sadly passed away from his injuries at 7 a.m. today. Indiana Department of Natural Resources conservation officers are investigating the tragic swimming accident involving Bradley Heyne, 26, of Coldwater, Ohio. According to a DNR press release, at 6 p.m. Saturday, Heyne was swimming with friends at Big Chapman Lake sandbar when he dove head first off of a boat, striking his head on the shallow sandbar. It was not on Lake Wawasee as reported by numerous media outlets. Other boaters quickly pulled the unresponsive Heyne to shore and CPR was immediately initiated. Heyne was taken to a local hospital
