Indians have a natural aversion to one of the markers of a civilized society: the humble Queue. One would assume that such a basic construct: standing behind the last person in a line and patiently awaiting your turn, would be easy and without arguments to the contrary. But nooooo. Different people on separate occasions would like to know where youre planning to travel by train, what kind of chaat youre ordering, which doctor have you come to see at a hospital, how much money Indigo is going to fleece you today on account of excess baggage, your unhealthy eating habits at the checkout - do you really want to pay for those overpriced fried potatoes, etc. How hard is it to allow for some personal space and follow an order?! The so called educated are invariably the most illiterate.
