India’s former football team captain Baichung Bhutia will lead a team of Football Players Association of India in an exhibition match against Shillong Lajong player Renedy’s team at Khuman Lampak main stadium, Manipur on June 30. Baichung’s team will be playing under the name MDS Charger XI while Renedy’s team is Manipur XI. The exhibition match is being organised as part of the concluding programme of the 2-month long football development programme with two foreign coaches under the sponsorship of MDS (Manipur Development Society). The ticket rates for the exhibition match are Rs 500 for VIP stand and Rs 100 for general gallery.
