French lyrics lead off the track following a spooky instrumental opening, allowing a longing, romantic mood to soak into the gritty, layered backdrop. “Careful You†touches on themes we can all relate to—particularly as the infamous cuffing season approaches. It’s about experiencing love (at least a taste of it) and not knowing how to leave it behind when it beings to slip away.
