Individual rights are not subject to a public vote; a majority has no right to vote away the rights of a minority; the political function of rights is precisely to protect minorities from oppression by majorities. To make democracy work, we must be a notion of participants, not simply observers. Your vote is your protection. 2014, will be the 360 of the civil rights in American again. We are the riches 3rd world country, Obama is not the failure, but the failure will be our country. if we cant turn this round/more deaths will be in the hands of our Protect and Serve.
