Indra. Also known as Sakra in the Vedas. King of the Hindu Gods. Also God of Thunder and War. It is said that he rides atop a white elephant and smites his enemies or the wicked with lightning. Also Indra is the progenitor of other warlike Thunder Gods like the Greek Zues (Roman Jupiter) and the Nordic and Germanic Thor, since the Europeans descended from Indo European people, like the Indians.
