Industrial hemp legalization is one of the bills Im following in 2015 legislature. It has a cost of $150,000 -- One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to the board of regents of New Mexico state university to establish and maintain databases, a seed bank and a seed certification program pursuant to the Industrial Hemp Farming Act; and fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to the department of public safety to train law enforcement officers to identify industrial hemp and to implement a law enforcement program regarding the growth, sale and processing of industrial hemp pursuant to the Industrial Hemp Farming Act.
