Infact, Nigerians are very much observant of the personality of Sambo, vice president to Mr Jonathan. I will not say more than that about him in as much as Nigerians have realised the mistake we have made in the past by electing Jona man as a president who then appointed a smiling man as his vice. Anyway, we are very much waiting for the announcement of who will emerge as Buharis running mate. I have read the above report with keen interest as to why it is possible the running mate may emerge from the South-West. This is because there has been an arrangement by which each of those three parties (CPC, ANPP and ACN) that later merged to form APC is considered to have been favoured by allowing each to present three candidates for three important positions in the party. If it is indeed arranged that because CPC has produced Buhari from the North to be the partys presidential candidate, and ANPP has also been allowed to produce the party chairman from the South-South, then there absolutely nothing wrong in allowing ACN to produce the vice presidential candidate. This is why it is possible that the choice of who the vice presidential candidate will be may come from the former leadership of ACN. So, Prof. Osibajo is then likely to be favoured not only by virtue of his pedigree and integrity but also by virtue of the fact that he is a close friend to Tinubu. Of course, in as much as Osibajo is not being considered merely on the basis of his closeness to Tinubu but also importantly on the basis of his integrity and good pedigree, then Osibajo is very much welcome to Aso Rock villa as a vice president (In waiting) to our President Buhari (In waiting)
