Info for 20th June 2014 ULLSWATER SPEAKERS - P7 VISIT:- Can the pupils who agreed to speak to the S1s on the 2 day visit, please remember to have your talk ready by the end of the week (2mins each approx) There is a slight change now - can you all please speak on the Friday lunchtime and not split over 2 days. Please see Miss Roden if this is a problem . Lunch will be provided for you on the Friday also - see Miss Roden if you have nay dietary requirements. James was very impressed with your excellent behaviour and enthusiasm for Science - we hope you enjoyed the show! It is regarding the money raised during the S4 Enterprise event during May - Chloe Fowler, Meghan Falconer, Toni Dodds, Lee Casson, Taylor Johnston, James Bell, Brandon Wythe, Samuel Hartswood, Euan Aikman, Fraser Cranston, Ross Gillan, Danielle Taylor ART AND DESIGN FOLIOS : If you would like your National 5 or Higher folio back from the SQA please hand in £5 to Mrs Inglis. Spread the word to people who have left school. Work will be returned in November. Thank you. ROTARY YOUTH LEADERSHIP AWARD : Congratulations to Sam Muir and Peter Starrs who have both been accepted on to the Rotary Youth Leadership programme which runs as a residential experience for one week in July at the Abernethy Trust centre. The purpose of the programme is to build confidence in young people by providing leadership opportunities in challenging situations. Our students have already met up with other South East Scotland RYLA candidates in Edinburgh. Both Sam and Peter are really looking forward to this fantastic week - they will give a presentation to the local Rotary Club on their return.
