Info for 26th November LOST PROPERTY: Lost property will be disposed off at the end of the month – if you have lost anything please come and check the box from the janitors. GROUP PHOTOS : Hockey, Rugby, Football, Music, Showtime photos etc, order forms are available to pick up from the Music dept and PE Dept. The original photo is also displayed in each department to view. Please return order forms to reception by 28th November. PYJAMA DAY - NON SCHOOL UNIFORM DAY – Wear your pyjamas to school on Friday 28th November. Please remember to bring a £1for the collection which is for the Children’s Ward, BGH and the school fund. BADMINTON CLUB : There will be no badminton club this weekend due to the S4 parents evening. Sorry GAPA MEETING : on Wednesday period 4 in room 103. All members must attend . S2 CHRISTMAS COOKERY - ALL S2 PUPILS - Can you all please look out an old CD/Unwanted disc to bring into Home Economics. These must be given to your Practical HE teacher with your name on by Monday 8th December. INDOOR ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIP : Any pupils who would be interested in competing at the Scottish Schools Indoor Athletics Championship please come and see Mr Brown. The event is not until February but names need to be given by middle of January. You need to provide your event, date of birth and your personal best for the event. EDINBURGH COLLEGE – RAILWAY ENGINEERING COURSE : Edinburgh College are now running a new 16 week NVQ Level 2 railway engineering course, with VGC Labour Solutions guaranteeing job interviews for all graduating students. Students also receive a full Personal Track Safety (PTS), Track Induction (TIC) and a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card and a full medical which will allow them to begin work immediately. MODERN APPRENTICESHIPS : There are Modern Apprenticeship opportunities with the Scottish Government, Scottish Parliament and other employers on the go at the moment.
