Info on Parking for RUM Here is the parking map: (This will change a bit this evening, Tuesday, so if you plan on printing it wait a day or so) https://dropbox/s/vv945xhr8a1ct91/parking.pdf?dl=0 And a few points about it: 1) The Union is on the map, but the star near it is kind of small, it is the building that is just north of the green quad. 2) The circle drive in front of (north of) the Union is the drop off zone. 3) The second site, which is for messy/cooking/fire related classes is labeled: Glass Cooking Classes and is near the bottom just to the left of center. There is a lot near it if you want to park closer to there. 4) There are lots of one way streets. You can not always get there from here. 5) One of the best spots to park is the garage. It is close and has a lot of spots. The one-way streets, and the fact that you can not make a left out of the circle drive, make it a little confusing to get to, I added arrows to the map, that also take you by a couple of other lots. Turn left on 5th street, not before your you will be circling, circling, circling. EDIT: I have been informed that this is likely to fill up in the morning, the game-goers have found it. I will put a couple of other locations on the map later today to give more options. 6) READ THE SIGNS! I tried to include as much up-to-date information about what lots are legal, but I have not had time to drive around and confirm all lots. Read the signs to make sure that where you park is legal and free for the day. Some lots have spaces that are not legal and free, so pay attention. 7) It is a game day, the further south-west you go, the more likely the lots are to get full of game-goers. The Union also has a parking page, with a zoom-able, click-able map: union.illinois.edu/visit/parking
