Information from Cleveland Police Appeal Following Collision in Hartlepool Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision involving two vehicles which happened on Northgate at the junction with Middlegate on the Headland in Hartlepool. A black Renault Megane and a silver Toyota Yaris collided in the incident at around 6.55pm on Tuesday 1st July. The female drivers of both vehicles suffered neck injuries and a 50-year-old male passenger who was travelling in the Megane suffered a cracked vertebrae. He was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees, along with the driver of the Toyota Yaris, however both were later released following treatment. Any witnesses to the incident or anyone who may have seen the vehicles immediately prior to the collision are asked to contact PC Mark Pearson from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit, on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 112823.
