Information from our National Weather Service Office in Wakefield for those that may be affected by low water levels. A persistent westerly component to the wind, combined with a nearly full moon, will create a prolonged period of below normal water levels through Saturday, especially at low tide. This could cause issues with navigation of shallow estuaries. Our low water advisory criteria is -1.0 ft MLLW. We reached or exceeded that level today at many locations, and may again exceed that level Friday and Saturday.
