Information regarding services and agencies affected by the furlough is below. ___________________________________________________________ Clinics/Pharmacies: Womack Army Medical Center Public Affairs Office, 910-907-7247 Due to sequestration and the impending civilian furloughs at Fort Bragg, Womack Army Medical Center announces changes in service. Womack Main Outpatient Pharmacy will be closed on Sundays (starting on 14 July). The Refill Distribution Center Pharmacy will close on Saturdays at Noon (starting on 13 July). The Post Exchange (PX) Pharmacy will remain open through the lunch period and close between 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (starting on 8 July). Womack Army Medical Center will close the outlying primary care clinics beginning on Fridays the week of July 8th through September. This includes: Clark Health Clinic, Joel Health and Dental Clinic, Robinson Health Clinic, Troop and Family Medical Clinic, Fayetteville Medical Home and Hope Mills Medical Home. A consolidated clinic will run in the Womack Army Medical Center Residency Clinic on Fridays beginning the week of July 8th. Patients may call 907-2778 to make an appointment. Patients may also call 907-2625 to cancel appointments. Patients may schedule and/or cancel appointments via TRICARE Online at TRICAREonline . Behavioral Health information to follow soon ____________________________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________ Schools: Posted at dodea.edu/Budget/furloughDayList.cfm are the scheduled dates for furloughing of DODEA school teachers (Fort Bragg is on the 13th row). To streamline, the following are the dates for furlough: August 30th September 6th September 13th September 20th September 27th Schools will be closed on these days; however, CDCs will not be closed during the furlough period for Fort Bragg or DODEA schools. Check with your childcare providers to ensure they will be open on these days. Post-wide furlough begins 8 July. Commissaries will be closed on Mondays between 8 July and 20 September. Furloughs will affect medical treatment facilities, family support services, Department of Public Works, etc. It will have a significant impact on our community. As a result, be patient and plan ahead. Most organizations will utilize Fridays (coming to be known as "Furlough Fridays") as their furlough day, but there are no guarantees.
