Informations for the camping this weekend: Youth Department Camping Trip 2014 When: June 27 – 29, 2014 Location: Au Val Tourinnes, Rue du Grand Brou 49, 1320 Beauvechain. About 10 Km south of Leuven, just off N25. Website: campingauvaltourinnes Transportation: Bus 18 from Leuven train station, direction Jodoigne. Stop: Tourinnes-la- Grosse. Try to be there by 7:00 pm. Cost: 20€ per person to cover camping fees and food. (Please put money in an envelope and give to Douglas). What to bring (we will stay in tents): - Rain gear (in Belgium always be ready for rain) - Appropriate shoes (sandals are good for wearing in the shower, we will also go on a hike) - Personal toiletry items (toilet paper, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc) - Plastic bowl, plate, cup, fork, knife, spoon (very important, else you’ll be eating with your hands). No disposable paper or plastic. We have to pay for trash. - Something you can use as a pillow - Best way to keep warm at night is to wear warm socks and something over our head. - A sleeping pad would make sleeping on the ground more comfortable - Small camping folding chair or stool. Otherwise you’ll be standing or sitting on the ground. There are some inexpensive options (6 – 8 Eur) at Decathlon and which are easy to carry.
