Initial attraction has to be there for me to want to get to know someone. I don’t care if I met or saw you in sweat pants, jeans, a dress or your Sunday best. I need to know if what’s within is just as good as or better than the outward or physical beauty! So I don’t care how much you spent on shoes, outfit, jewelry, weave, car, house, purse, pedicures and manicures. Your outward appearance, no matter how perfect or flawless, may mean little if you think you are better or above others and have a poor attitude! Plus I know with age even most beautiful face fades and skin becomes wrinkled. The longest hair falls out and becomes gray. The most perfectly sculpted body will undoubtedly sag! What’s more important is do you make me smile, laugh, comfortable and happy? Are you a good communicator, able to compromise and be committed? Do you have a genuinely good heart, mind, soul and spirit? Are you a person who follows through with their word, cares and wants to know about how my day was and if there is anything to be done to make it better? Can you deal with me or accept my flaws when I’m at my worst? Are you able to walk beside me, hold my hand, and kneel with me in prayer? Are you going be there when no one else is? Can you be my best friend, confidant and lover for life until death does us part? #This is wifey/husband material!
