Injury Accident Sioux Falls, South Dakota: On 7-31-2014 at 1536 hours Sioux Falls Police, Fire and Rural Metro Ambulance were dispatched to Silver Valley Drive and Marian Road for an injury car versus motorcycle accident. This area of Marian Road is under construction and was clearly marked for vehicle travel. Investigation showed that a 2008 Saturn SUV driven by Luis Talavera, 35, of Sioux Falls was northbound on Marian Road. A 1982 Honda Goldwing driven by Carl Kreun, 75, and Julie Kreun, 74, both of Sioux Falls was southbound on Marian Road. Mr. Talavera made a left hand turn in front of Mr. Kreun causing the collision. The Kreun’s were transported to an area hospital and received non-life threatening injuries as a result of the collision. Mr. Talavera was cited for Failure to Yield – Left Turn.
