Inle lake Inle lake, the second largest lake of Myanmar is located in Nyaung Shwe Township of the Shan State. Surrounded by more than 200 villages with a population of around 150,00, Inle lake is an enchanting place set in the hills of the southern Shan state. Located near to the border with China, Laos and Thailand, it is also surrounded by hills and its inhabitants are Intha. The visitors can enjoy the scenery of green hills, blue skies and discover the way of life of the famous leg-rowers.
