Inme updates - 2nd June - update 1 ------------------------------- Uroli (U2), tons (T5, T6), triple trouble (TT2), Kedarkantha expedition (KE2) (Press see more to view all) U2 update ------------- Children woke up in the morning and were all set to start the days activities. After a power up session and breakfast, they left camp in their activity groups. The ropes course group will hit do a mix of low and high elements. The rock climbers will face bigger rocks putting to use all they have learnt. The bikers have picked their skills well after spending the day at the obstacle course. They will do some more skill building and leave the camp for a ride. The Backpackers are having a session of tent pitching and will leave for a night out in the afternoon. All the children will be back at camp for lunch. All are well. The weather is beautiful, perfect to be outdoors! T5 Update -------------- The children are off for the last day of the activities. The bikers are off for a long ride and will ride to Mora village, they have some challenging trails and uphill stretches to cover today. The rock climbers are doing two phase climbing and will do rappelling. The backpackers have gone to the nearby village. The children are all well and will be back to camp by lunch time. We will open the inme shop for a while after lunch. Last day at camp and the children are determined to make the most of it. Lots planned for the evening! T6 Update ------------ The children woke up early morning and were ready for another day of adventure. The children had an hour long session in their WOW groups. The rock climbers went for the village project. The backpackers had a session of principles Leave no trace camping. The bikers are having a session on bike safety and gear changing techniques. They will all leave for another day of rafting at 10:30 am. They will cover a longer stretch today. All are excited and looking forward to some splashy fun! They return to camp by lunch time. TT2 Update ----------------- The children are all well and engaged and loving the activities. Group A has left for the kayaking expedition and will kayak to beas ghat where they set up camp for the night. Lots of excitement and the children are determined to overcome any challenge that come their way! Group B is doing rafting and is rafting till NIM beach today. The children are well and the weather is sunny. All the more fun to be in the water! Lots of sunblock in use! :) KE2 Update -------------- The children have left for the expedition early morning today. All were mega excited as they wore their rucksacks, got into line and left the camp. The group is determined and sure they will overcome any challenge that comes their way! Wishing our expeditioners the best of luck!!! We will not be in touch with the participants on the trek. So, no news is good news! We will put an update if we hear from them in the meanwhile. They return to camp on 5th June, afternoon. ___________________________________________________
