Inme updates - 9th April - Update 1 ----------------------------------------- Coorg (C1), Coorg on wheels (CW1), Pallikoodam School - Yercaud (press see more to view the entire update) C1 Update ------------- The children slept well and woke up looking forward to another exciting day on the program. Day 2 of the activities started with the children warming up to some very interesting elastic limbs session. After a wholesome breakfast, they got into their activity groups and left camp for the activities. The rock climbers will face more challenge as they start rock climbing with smaller rocks moving on to bolder rock faces. The ropes course group has hit the course. The back packers and wilderness craft groups will go for a night out after lunch. They will have a session of tent pitching, shelter making in the morning. All the children are doing well and it is wonderful to see how well they have mixed with each other. CW1 update ------------------ The expedition starts today! The children woke up early morning all excited to get on their bikes and take off. After breakfast and a detailed briefing session, they mounted their bikes and were off. They will cycle close to 15 kms today to reach their camp site. It was delight to see their smiles as they started from camp. All are confident and eager to take on the challenge and beat it! Pallikoodam School - Yercaud --------------------------------------- Another early morning wake up, though with out repeated wake up calls today! The weather is pleasant with few clouds seen in the sky. Group 1 has gone for a long trek and will also cook on the trek. This is an unique experience, as the children gather wood, water and cook in pure outdoor style. Group 2 is off fora long round of biking and will return to camp by lunch time. All the children are doing well. The football session last evening was a success and much enjoyed by all. Lots of exciting activities planned this evening! _____________________________________________________
