Innovative English and Osteria Banco Rosso have introduced a new programme of Italian cookery and Italian language educational experiences, based in Busalla in the Valle Scrivia region of Northern Italy. Innovative English is the trading name of a language consultancy operated by Karen Freeland, an English language and communication skills specialist. Originally from Northern Ireland, Karen has been based in the Northern Italy area for 8 years. Karen is successfully designing and running English language and personal communication courses in the Genova, Piemonte and Valle Scrivia area. By building on experience and linking to a network of teaching and catering professionals from all language backgrounds, this educational experience has been designed for those who wish to have a basic command of the Italian language, particularly as it relates to being a world tourist and to the world of cooking. The restaurant specialises in traditional Ligurian cuisine and prides itself on an environment which reflects the bygone days of traditional Ligurian eating. Under the management of proprietor and accredited sommelier with a lifetime of experience in the hospitality sector, Stefano Chiarolini, the restaurant employs a team of professionals including sous chef, pizza and traditional bread making specialists and a team of friendly and helpful waiting staff.
