Innöcent Dlamini: The book shows a very diverse array of information about the African continent. For instance, when writing about Africa many authors fail to recognize that Africans can be of any colour: white southern Africans, Arab North Africans, coloured, and people of Indian descent. By including all of these different ethnic groups this book paints a multifaceted story of the truth of the African continent. In addition, many relatively unknown historical facts are included that surprise the reader and change perceptions about the possibility of civil unity in Africa. All of these excellent aspects of the book lead up to the final chapter concerning the possibility of uniting the African countries; this is well achieved because the reader is given context for why and how such a paradigm shift is possible. By ending the book on an idealistic note, Africans reading this text are imbued with African nationalism, and non-Africans acquire awe for the incredible pride of a people. After reading this book I am interested in meeting Mr Vincent Mnisi, who demonstrates immense insight for the future of Africa and for what young Africans such as myself can do to contribute towards this cause. Garreth Gothaven-Kemet Tembo: The great idea espoused by the great Dr. Cheik Anta Diop, the book does the concept justice. Africa : Can I use some of your book for a paper please ? A book for all in Diaspora should buy for their children to help them understand the root of our motherland Africa. Truly Educational! Just enjoyed reading it. Cam Jennings: I am most impressed with this book and the guy who wrote it...this is not a solicited comment and no financial transaction took place regarding this comment. I have looked at this book and reviewed it to conclude that it is a most useful book and one that I will purchase in the immediate future.
