Inquiry or project-based learning has been used for years at the university level. Now inquiry is being introduced even at the primary level. According to a BC Ministry of Education, Inquiry- or problem-based approaches to instruction effectively foster an appreciation of the interconnectedness of learning. Successful learners enjoy inquiring, solving problems, and making connections both independently and with others.
