Ins #199 Sleep was almost non-existent that night, the baby kept us awake almost the whole night. He finally slept around 5am and slept for about 3 hours. We woke up at 9am looking like zombies because we didnt get enough sleep. Dad had already bathed ready to go, he said his goodbyes and kissed his grandchildren then drove off. I was now left with Lisa, Sino and the kids. Lisa and I decided to go out together and do some grocery shopping, my pillar was still recovering. I took a shower and so did Lisa then we left around 11am, we ran into people she knew and she introduced me to them. I also ran into my colleague and she asked how I was doing, she had heard the news about me getting shot. Me: ndi grand thanx for asking, Im coming back to work next week. Colleague: thats good news Lwazi weve missed you at work, kunjani ulala eICU? We couldnt believe it when we heard the news. Me: I dont know I dont remember anything. Colleague: okay ke see you next week. Me: sho sisi. She walked away and I went back to Lisa and we continued with our shopping. After we were done we went to have some drinks and then drove off back home. Lisa stayed with us for the whole week then the following week she went back to res. Weeks passed and I went back to work, I didnt stop applying for other jobs with higher salaries and my pillar on the other side was also busy applying, her operation had healed and out new born was growing fast. We had also decided to look for a nanny the following month. We started on putting an Ad on the news paper and calls came flooding in to book interviews. My pillar interviewed about 5 ladies but didnt like all of them she said andibathandi bonke nana, Im not satisfied. Me: batheni baby? Youll be going to work soon and they too young to go to creche. Sino: ndiyababona abanabo ububele, theres no way Im leaving my kids with someone I dont trust. Me: yoh okay ke well keep looking. Sino: did you see the last lady lona wenze iboycut? She kept looking at you kunani ujonga abantwana ulibele ku jongana nendoda. Me: hahahaha yoh baby awusatshi, Im sure its nothing. Sino: yuh Ill look for other nannies or call my mother to find one for me. Me: I think thats a good idea because ela oledi lali gcina ukhanye lali grand lona. Sino: let me call her kesana. Me: sure baby. She called her mother and told me by next week uzobe ekhona omnye umama ozoza she even said uthi umama ukwi early 40s and usuka ezilalini, ingathi ngoyena oright, but I need to see if she has love for my children kqala if I see shes grumpy Ill send her packing. I laughed at Sino, she was definitely not playing around when it comes to our children, she was in charge of finding the right nanny hence she was looking for a new one but I didnt mind paying the salary. 4 months later..... I had been called to 3 interviews and was unsuccessful on the 2 but got accepted on the 3rd one. So now Im working at a local municipality under PR and Marketing department. They did a sent off party for me at my previous work and wished me all the best. I had also bought myself a new bmw M6, talk about upgrade, but hey no car can compare to my bmw 325(gusheshe) I must admit I really miss doing the spinnings a lot. We had found a new nanny and she has a lot of love for the kids, so my wife and I are both happy. Shes a sleep-in because she lives in Sinos village which is far away from where we stay. My pillar and I went to a church close to where we stay with our kids, we were welcomed there and I must say I am enjoying being a church member. The church is full of activities during the week and Ive come to know a lot more about the bible and I can pray a lot now, Lhoza also goes to sunday school. So we are a church going family. My mom always says yuh uThixo umkhulu! Who would have thought wena Lwazi would go to church every sunday, ndiyambulela uThixo ngawe Sinovuyo eish unozala kodwa :) So now my sister Lisa was busy organising for our house warming party, yeah she put herself in charge we didnt really have a choice in the matter. It was on the following weekend on a saturday. Zolani said hed be coming, I now had new friends around the city that I invited and Mtheza plus Ace-man were also coming with the kids of course. Saturday arrived and my pillar was busy preparing for the day together with Lisa and my mother, others were coming in a few hours time. My dad was also there. Around 2pm people started arriving, Ace-man and Mtheza drove their own cars and said they still on the way following each other. Moments later they arrived, they didnt get lost at all because they were using GPS, Ace-man called me to open up the gate. I took the remote and opened it then they drove in, I was surprised that Mtheza had changed his car, he was now driving a red Audi A3. They got out of their cars, Ace-man was with Thuli, Phozisa and Lidz junior. Mtheza was with his lil kid Litha, Zolani and a chick I didnt recognise, I went over to them and shoulder bumped with my boiz. Mtheza: size nama ntshontsho ethu Lwai sani! Uyabona namhlanje izoba yi day care centre indlu yakho boi. Hey ambano dlala nina! *looking at the kids.* L.J and Litha ran away to play with other kids. Hahaha Mtheza was abit harsh on the kids though. Me: awu majita, you guys are looking good. Ace: yi wey yethu Lwai sani. Mtheza: khamringele Ace ingathi usilibele. Zolani: ekse igrand indlu yakho boi I see you doing well for yourself. Me: kuyazameka boiz. Mtheza: its so quiet kule area yakho sani Id be bored to death. Me: hahaha kanti nam ndaqhela. Mtheza: ndiyabuya ndisaya ku Lee. Me: behave Mtheza kukho abantu abadala apha. Mtheza: I will kaloku sani, pha ebsuku ndifuna uyo groova kemna sani show me around the city ndifuna ushaya umdanso the whole night. Me: ola! Nakanjani kaloku boi. Zolani introduced me to his girlfriend, I could see that he was really serious about her, my boi also wanted to be in a stable relationship. Ace-man went to greet Zan and Lisa and Mtheza was talking with them while he held Lisa from behind, those two carried on like whites I had to keep reminding them that the parents were around because my mother in-law was also there. Me: so Mtheza nisahleli grand ne ngcosi yakho? Mtheza: yah mfethu yoh! Sihleli mjojo nentwana yam uLithaz. Me: okay sho boi,I hope you not drugging him with a shot of whiskey xa elila. Mtheza: tshi! Uyadlala mos wena Lwai sani I put beer in his bottle atipe the whole night with no disturbance. Sino: what?? Mtheza: yah intwana yam ibuqhelile utywala Sino: hayi kengoku iworse. Lisa turned and gave him a dead stare. Mtheza: hahahahaha ndiyadlala mani majita na majitakazi, nditsala lo ungu Zan ndiyamazi uzonyukelwa yi high blood pressure. Sino: hahahaha mxim! My pillar had really gotten used to Mtheza. I hadnt seen the boiz in months and I could see a change in them, a positive change.
