Insanity and the consequent social narrative: 1. A woman is raped and the first question you hear is “what was she wearing?” 2. A woman is beaten up by a man and the first question you hear is “what did she do to the man that made him beat her?” 3. A woman carries a baby for nine months and on delivery the first question you hear is “is it a boy or a girl?” 4. A woman leaves a violent marriage and you hear annoying counsel like “she should have endured, is she the only one” (To write a full blog post on some of these annoying narrative that has taken over the cyber space in Africa.
