Insert 7 *Alexs point of view* I have been waiting for her outside the school for 2 hours now. I thought I saw a glimpse of her earlier on but the person turned to use the other exit. Its 5 now and she was suppose to be out by 3. I called Sindiswa Sindi: hello? Me: Sindiswa its Alex are you with Mandy? Sindi; no shouldnt she be with you? Me: kudala ndime apha ecampus akaphumi. Sindi: dude your xhosa still creeps me out. Me: Sindiswa andidlale bonanje. Uphi uAmanda? Sindi: tried calling her? Me: of course dammit. Sindi: ndehle bhuti please. Did you go check inside? Me: almost a hundred times. Sindi: okay let me call the others and find out if they not with her. Me: she said she would see me here at 3. Sindi: maybe the others took her out. Calm down. Me: okay keep me posted. Sindi : shes okay relax. Me: bye I couldnt help but have a bad feeling. Deep down my stomach turned and I knew something was wrong. I checked the school again before I left and drove off looking for her. Something was not right. Mandy wouldnt stand me up or make me wait for her but shes not coming. She would let me know otherwise. I tried calling her again but her stupid phone was still off. I was driving around looking for her at the malls..The beach and all the places she liked going. I got a call from Sindiswa. Me: Sindiswa tell me shes there. She was crying. Sindi: she is still not back Alex and the others dont know where she is. Me: did you call everyone? Sindi: yes qha I didnt get Charles. Something about what he said got me wondering. His face was kind of funny this morning. Me: where does Charles live? Sindi: you think they together? Me: its worth a shot. She told me where he lives and I drove to his place. When i got there only his parents were there and they said he was visiting the children he went to spend time with at the hospital. I thanked them and went to the hospital and he was there. Me: hey Charles. Charles: Alex Me: sorry to disturb you but have you seen Mandy? Charles: isnt she suppose to be with you? Me: yes but she never came after school Charles: you lost her???? Me: no I just dont know where she could be and her phone is off. Charles: maybe she is at a mall or somewhere. Me: maybe but I have a weird feeling that shes in danger. Charles: I would love to help you but I cant leave the kids. Me: its okay. I left. Something about the way Charles spoke casually was bothering me. I decided to go home at about 11. I took a long cold shower to calm myself down. I had hope she was okay nothing bad was wrong with her but my senses told me otherwise. My gut feeling was acting out like crazy. After my shower I received a message. It was Mandy. Mandy: I decided to go home for a while. See you. That was it. She has been missing for the whole day and she sends me that sms. I knew right there that she didnt send that message and she was in great danger. Sindi texted me telling me she received and sms from Mandy and she was at home. There was no way in hell that uAmanda will decide nje to go home. I know Ive only known her for two months but its not like her to do that. Where was Amanda?
