Insert#90 A week later I was now in South Africa,working at the salon and staying with Cindy.Business was good so was life though I missed my baby girl a lot.My parents called me everyday just to check up on. Thembi:heee guess who came looking for you yesterday just after you left Me:am sure you going to tell us. Thembi:Siya. Me:Mxm I thought you were going to tell me about a client who would bring in money. Thembi:he was asking for your address but I told him you in Zim Me:thanks chomie,I dont want anything to do with him. Cindy:enough about him,girls lets all do a nail technician course.We losing money because of sticking to hair only. Thembi:thats a great idea, Cindy:I already found the school,well its under planet nails.We need to go there and register. Me:am just imagining the amount of money we will be making Thembi:hahaha you love money shame Cindy:show me one person who doesnt :p I love these guys they always cheer me up. The following day we went to Planet nails and registered for the evening classes and then we went to the salon.When we got there guess who was standing by the door.Yep you guessed right,the man I hate with all my heart.I took out the key from my bag and unlocked the salon and got in and ignored him. Siya:can we talk Me:Cindy we are running out of relaxers we need to call our supplier hey Cindy:yooh I was suppose to call them yesterday but it slipped my mind. Thembi:I just hope business will be as good as it was yesterday. Hahaha my friends are just supportive yooh.I blocking Siya out and they made sure he doesnt get a chance to utter another word. Thembi:after our classes you guys can come over to my place there is a braai. Cindy:will there be cute guys Siya:Makho can we talk please Thembi:there will be all the yummy man you can ever dream of Me:ooh wow.I cant wait hey because this chick right here is single and ready to mingle. We all laughed and high fived. Siya eventually walked out,hahaha we laughed again. Me:thank you girls Cindy:dont mention it,we got your back Thembi:and I was dead serious about that braai but there wont be any yummy men. Cindy:yoooh and here I was thinking that today am getting some some. We laughed Cindy and Thembi are those kind of girls that are not into serious relationships,the thing is Cindy was once married her husband was robbed and killed after 6months of marriage,so she vowed to never fall inlove again,Thembi on the other side was in a relationship of 9years when her boyfriend decided to break up with her and marry a girl he had known for 2months.Messed up right!I know. We worked the whole day fooling around and all till it was knock off time.We cleaned up and and locked up.We walked to the taxi rank and boarded a taxi to Thembis flat.We got there and had a few drinks and braai.We decided to sleep at her place.Before I slept I called my mom to check up on them Mom:hello baby Me:hie mom,how are you Mom:am fine my child just miss you,how is everything that side? Me:business is good,tomorrow am starting a nail technician course Mom:thats wonderful baby,am happy for you. Me:thanks mom,how is dad? Mom:he is fine,he is looking for the remote he doesnt remember where he put it,am guessing he was trying to hide it from me Me: =D old age Mom:we are indeed getting old,have you told Siya about Thandiwes death yet? Me:no am not planning to anyway.Its been 6months mom not even a single day did he call to check up on her.So why should I bother! I was now fuming with anger. Mom:ok dear I was just asking,but he has a right to know,he is her father after all Me:mom I will call you some other time I have ran out of airtime. Mom:ok my baby love you Me:love you to,greet dad for me. Then we hung up I know my mom had a point but he told me to call his wife-to-be if there is anything I needed concerning Thandiwe but he never gave me her number so I cant be blamed.I also tried to call him when I needed money but my calls were rejected. Am I a bad person?
