Insert149 After dinner I did the dishes when I was done I went to Aneles room. When I got to his room he was lying on his tummy with a pillow on his face. Me : Anele?.. He didnt respond. I went to lie next to him. After a while he looked at me. His eyes were red. Me : whats going on?.. He sniffed. Me : dont wanna talk about it?.. He sat up and I did too. Anele : yeah I dont wanna talk about it right now. Me : oh okay but youll be fine?? Anele : yeah Ill be fine.. I was worried about him and I wanted so bad to know whats wrong but he wouldnt talk. Me : okay ke good night. I kissed him on the cheek and got up. Anele : my child Thando. I looked at him with a confused face? Me : your child?.. Tears rolled down his cheeks. Anele : zizi.. He couldnt finish his sentence he broke down. I sat down and wrapped my arm around his body. Anele : Zizipho got a miscarriage.. I just didnt know what to say so I kept quiet. Anele : my first born Thando, that was my first born I was going to be a father. Me : what happened? Anele : I dont know but I swear am gonna kill Zizipho. He got up. Me : and where are you going now? Anele : am going to make some damage control. He wore a jacket and I got up. Me : What damage control are you talking about? Anele : Ill be back soon. He walked out and ran after him. Me : Anele please. Anele : Thando please. He walked out. I sat down on the floor. I felt his pain, my eyes got teary. I heard foot steps coming from up stairs to where I was, I quickly got up and wipped the tears away. It was umama. Mama : Thando what are you doing here? Me : I came to switch off the lights. Mama : go to bed Ill switch them off. Me : okay. I walked away. I couldnt sleep knowing that my brother is somewhere out there. I couldnt tell my parents as well cz they didnt know about the baby. After hours I finally fell asleep. My phone woke me up it was Anele. Me : Anele?.. I sat up. Anele : zovula. I got and went to open for him. He wasnt wearing the jacket anymore and his t-shirt had blood. Me : Anele what happened?? Why do yo- Anele : go to sleep Thando am fine. Me : no maarn Anele dont tell me to go to bed unjena? Anele : Thando you going to school tomorrow. Me : am going to wake umama no tata if you dont tell me uba kwenzeka ntoni. Anele : okay fine ligazi lika Lusanda Me : whos Lusanda and why do you have his blood? Anele : go to bed Ill tell you tomorrow. I looked at him and went to my room. The time was after 2 so I slept for 3 hours then I woke up and prepared for school. Before I left for school I went to Aneles room. He was still sleeping. School was fine and I had fun. One of them best days of my school career. Just one of those days when one gets naughty and all. After school as we were walking to the taxi rank a group of guys walked up to us. They greeted and we greeted back. Guy1 : Thando?.. He was looking at me. Sihle and I looked at each other. Me : ndazelaphi? Guy2 : leyo ayibalulekanga. He came to stand just infront of me and I could smell his breath. Guy2 : jonga neh? Lungisa izinto no Anathi. Me : eshee. She grabbed my neck and squeezed it. Sihle : hayi wena uphambene. She tried to get his hands off me but he couldnt. Guy2 : do as I say okay?? Me : ye..yesss.. He pushed me and I fell down.
