Inside McDonalds Im behind an old man that ordered a coffee thats $.59 & paid with a $50 bill. I think to myself She has to give him $49 in change, I shouldve just paid for it. Finally she says $19.41 is your change thank you and have a great day! Before I know it, Im chasing him down, tap his shoulder and say Let me see your money! I know you didnt get the correct change back. I walked him back in and began my protest. Well after they caused a diversion, called the manager, and insisted the receipt had to be right, I said Human error maam, you typed in $20 but he gave you $50 so either you open the drawer and check or Im calling the police! By this time everybody is watching. They open the drawer & $50 bill sitting on a pile of $20 bills. I said please offer this man something for all this trouble. He racked up for him & his wife!! He said They dont make young ppl like you anymore. Tell your parents they did a good job and they should be proud. That money is for my wifes medicine and she said I could treat myself to a coffee today. Now yall know I had to give him $10 and a hug! He was crying. Can you imagine him getting to Walgreens missing $30! I love my elderly ppl! They are the heart of my passion in life.
