Insidious: Chapter 2 had its scary moments, and the music and SFX does create an unsettling atmosphere, but is occasionally unintentionally funny. The plot seems like a couple of random scenes slapped-together. Theres a bit of everything in it - a pissed off lady ghost in a long white gown, a serial killer, other ghosts, a doppelganger and also what seemed like time travel. Prepare yourselves to be dazed by a doppelganger, a comatose human and a ghost hanging out in the underworld - talking and hugging each other! Also the out of place parallel humor track deliberately added to the movie does nothing to the over all story. I mean why would you tell someone a joke, if your intent is to scare that person?
