Inspiration is something Ive been lacking lately. When I went on my trip to the west coast this summer, I was full of inspiration. And I was lucky enough to meet about 50 other creative souls like myself. Most of them were photographers, some of them took on visual art in other mediums, but we were lucky enough to spend that week with some musicians as well. I want to give this guy a serious shout out because he is just such an amazing person in general (let alone, a fantastic musician), and as Im going through his music on this chilly Saturday afternoon, Im reminiscing on my time in Vancouver, and even my time in Portland and the LA area. Im starting to feel those creative juices flowing again, and Im looking forward to winter break when I have nothing else to do but create. Try to ignore Johns beat up face from his skiing accident, and just listen to this sweet sweet piano. And also, like his page, John Tatom if you like hearing nice sounds.
