Inspired Selections - Optometrist - Gloucestershire Either newly qualified or experienced Optometrist required to deliver eye examinations and contact lens fitting services to a consistently high clinical and customer-service standard on a full time basis. The Company: This friendly and established independent is now looking to recruit a passionate and driven Optometrist. Location: Based in Gloucestershire, the company has proved an attractive and exciting prospect to those who wish to further their career within a company who is dedicated to deliver a superior clinical service to their patients. The Role: You will be responsible for enhancing the reputation of the business by ensuring high quality standards in services and on an average day you would complete 20-25 minutes refraction and established contact lens clinics. Working hours are between 9.00 - 17.00 Monday - Friday and 9.00 - 13.00 Saturday with one late night per week finishing 19.00. Duties typically involve: - Carry out eye examinations in accordance with company procedures and NHS regulations - Ensure that any referral letters are written and dispatched promptly - Ensure that all customers have a clear understanding of dispensing options for their prescription. Advising customers on appropriate eye care options, including suitability for contact lenses and current promotions - Ensure that each customer receives a consistent quality handover - Adopt a flexible approach to seeing walk in patients - Maintain patient records to the professional standards required by the company - Maintain cleanliness of consulting room and contact lens areas - Attend and participate in team meetings. Maintain up-to-date clinical and professional knowledge - Involved with training within the team and the supervision of dispensing assistants - Personal conversion and sales targets are met - Ensure store sales and growth targets are achieved The Person: The successful candidate will hold a degree in Optometry and fully registered with the General Optical Council. You will need to be motivated, flexible attitude and possess strong commercial awareness, work well within a team environment, confident in approach and dedicated to offer a quality service and driven.
