Inspired by Helen Kellers story as a child I just watched this. The last sentence moved me to tears and it reminded me of the sort of thing Brandee Bublé is aiming to do with her first childrens book (OShae the Octopus) - a story Brandee wrote to teach children that being different is not a negative. Wrongly, people of all ages can be written off as having nothing of importance to communicate. And, even the music her brother Michael Bublé chose to sing, it was at one time held back from a wider audience because its value to so many others was at first not apparent but was seen as too different. My respect to those who battle adversity to get their message out there. And my respect to those who strive ever forward in pursuit of their dreams. Yet, just as much, I give my respect and heartfelt thanks to those equally important people who so often are standing unseen in the shadows. Those who make such a HUGE difference to others in their capacity as hardworking, loving parents, as supportive friends, as inspirational and ever encouraging teachers. Those whose efforts contribute to build confidence in others by repeatedly lending their encouragement and support when it is needed. As someone inspirational has said to me it takes time for the cream to rise to the top but it also take the patience and support of others to help one another along when the road uphill seems a journey too steep. The world would be a better place if we all realised that from every person and each situation which we face - we all have the opportunity to learn something from others. And something too about ourselves. Not written off, but given instead the right circumstances to grow, so much more can be achieved.
