Inspired by so many of you here, I decided to have my first attempt at Corned Beef. It was a meal that my mum always made when I was younger, and I loved it. Ive never cooked it before, so was a bit worried it wouldnt turn out. I was going to cook it on low for 8 hours, like I do most SC meals, but halfway through I turned it up to high for 1 hour, then back to low for the remainder of the time. It was PERFECT, and fell apart when hubby was trying to cut it up. Even my 7yr old who isnt a huge meat fan ate the lot without complaint (although his was covered in tomato sauce!!!!). I forgot to do the greens, so it looks a bit boring ;-) Thank you everyone for your photos and inspiration
