Instead of doing an everyday thankful list, Im listing my first top 10 here. Ill add my next top 10 later tonight. 1) Im thankful for my God, for without Him, I dont know where Id be. He made me who I am today. 2) Troy. Hes my rock, my best friend, the love of my life. He loves me unconditionally and always reminds me of how beautiful I am. He has always been there for me, and will never stop. Hes the peanut butter to my chocolate. Hes my true love. And I am so so so thankful to have him as my Big Daddy. 3) My parents. Even though Ive only had a dad for a couple months, he has been the best father I could ask for. He treats my mom with so much respect and love, it makes me believe that there is someone for everyone. My mom is my role model. For 20 years, shes put up with me and never quit on me. She put my needs before hers without a second thought. She is an amazing mother, and I couldnt have been more blessed. 4) my siblings. Yeah, we fight and bicker, but I love them so freaking much. We may not see eye to eye, but theyre my siblings. I love them. Theyve been my inspiration to be a mother one day. 5) my NC sisters. Kayla, Sarah, Ashley, Faith, Jenn.They are my girls. Without them, I would be so lost. Theyve helped me through so much and havent realized it. Theyve helped me overcome fears and my past. They dont care about my mistakes from high school. They care about ME. I have the best big sisters EVER. They are truly an inspiration. I will never lose my friendship with them. 6) my absolute best friend. Brittan. She has been my rock since grade school. We had times of separation, but those times made us stronger. She doesnt judge me, but loves me. Shes the rational one in our relationship; without her, if be some crazy cook. She has always been my best friend, and she will always be my best friend. We may go through times without communication, but that doesnt mean we dont think about each other. Shes my soulmate. 7) my NEW brothers. I still dont know them that well, but theyre my family. Im sure we will bicker too, but that doesnt mean I wont ever care about them. Theyre my family now and Im blessed to have them as brothers. 8)my puppies. Without them, Id be a hermit through this deployment. With them, Im going crazy. But its a good kind; they keep me on my toes and get in laughs and smiles. Theyre my guardian angels. 9) the chance of doing good. Volunteering is my passion, and I have that ability right here in Goldsboro. Im so thankful to have opportunities to help those who need it. Whether its two or four-legged. I am helping people, and I couldnt be happier. 10) The Military and the new adventures, friends, opportunities I wouldnt have otherwise been able to experience and meet with. There are so many blessings in this one I cant say it all, but the one that stands out is the opportunity to make new friends. Im still getting to know a lot of them, but I guess its the mutual background that keeps us close. The feeling of sisterhood. Im so thankful to have become friends with these women and I cant wait to know them better.
