Instead of every South Sudanese aspiring to become a politician and above all confuse the people due to quest for power, it is high time the different professionals such as Dr., Engineers, etc. resorted to pursuing their fields and undertake as well as enrich research to encourage innovations and inventions in the Country. Currently South Sudan (by mere observation) barely has hard core Medical Drs. who could perform highly specialized operations (brain, heart, ear, eye, etc.), no Engineer has even assembled a used vehicle yet by established theories and practices of his/her own. The few Medical Drs and Engineers have been absorbed by the floating NGOs with basic roles of merely administering vaccines that were long discovered in western institutions and Universities. Our oil for instance now is left mainly on the hands of the foreign Engineers like the Chinese among others who do the real work while our own are barely exposed to switching buttons and turning pipes etc. We really need to think deeper and our education system must be made appropriate to support the set up of all these units that are key in nation building.
