Instead of raising the minimum wage rate....uh...how about raising the heart to heart rate? What is argued to be used for those not giving better service for a higher wage(example: A person went to order a burger at a chain restaurant and asked for it to be prepared one way, but ended up with a completely different burger then desired...higher wages dont mean better service) could be used to help this nation get closer to full employment and access to phones so they can be called for work. For instance...we talk about all this technology and how advanced we are...why not create a phone that is specifically designed for those living on the street. Have it so that it cannot be used to dial out, but can receive calls. How do you save battery usage....when the phone is not used to receive a call then the phone goes dead only to be activated by an incoming call. This phone would be waterproof and very durable since conditions on the street are not totally predicable. That is an idea and it was made up in seconds...people can invest more time thinking about how to cure this place than how to just get a few bucks. The greater reward, even financially, would be to create something that is helpful to the masses....I have ideas to help the homeless...and if I were to have the right amount of funds...youd know it by my actions taken to help.
