Instead of squats we want cooperatively managed housing. Instead of dumpstered food we want fresh, clean food prepared cooperatively and served with oversight by the community as to sanitary conditions. Instead of co-ops that pay minimum wage or less than minimum wage we struggle to convert capitalist production into industry managed in the interests of working people. Instead of progressive small business we want an economy that takes over industry where needed and eliminates industry where destructive to the needs of the human community. Instead of organisations funded by foundations and grants we believe in organisations that are funded by dues and grassroots fundraising. Instead of control by professional activists and organisers we believe in organisations where decisions are made in assemblies and meetings. Instead of executives and steering committees we believe in the delegation of tasks by assembly and elections of officers that report to the membership of the organisation, not to each other in a separate committee. Instead of vague consensus decisions making dominated by professional facilitators we believe in a clear process that applies the same to everyone, where the chair is elected and rotated. Instead of orienting ourselves towards the rest of the activist left we orient ourselves towards the proletariat. That is the vast majority who do not derive their income off the exploitation of labour. Instead of social scenes, and fake dropout communities we want formal organisations that bridge social cliques and communities. This is what class struggle anarchism means.
