Instead of telling you the whole story I will just get to the point and if you have questions you can ask me. So here goes I have my diagnosis. On last Sept 28th, my oldest son birthday, I woke up and feel in the floor and as you know I have had to learn to walk, talk, my world never stopped spinning and all the things I have been through. The specialist said that one doctor had my thyroid really messed up the other my blood pressure and I need a new neuro dr. He took 8 vials of blood and did some testing on me I was with him for three hours. He said that everyone has looked at these things in the wrong ordered and that this is not normal vertigo. The vertigo is a symptom, just as the slurred speech, bladder, not be able to walk and all the other things I have had to relearn and still not mastered it. He told me that when I woke up on Sept 28th, my sons birthday, almost one year ago that I had a STROKE and that is what I have been fighting and dealing with for one year now. I may not get any better because valuable time was lost when they cancelled my insurance. I am in a dangerous position right now...on a slippery slope but have to keep fighting. This specialist will be taking care of my thyroid problems, he also wants to take control of my blood pressure since he thinks no one should have to take 12 pills for bp and then bottom out but that is all brain activity. I want to thank my family, friends, and my sweet gardening friends for all the chats and encouragement, the laughs and most of all the prayers. They have meant so much to me. I have to say that I am a little depression from this diagnosis but at least I know the monster that I have been fighting and still have to continue to fight. Please keep me in your prayers. Iam having problems right now writing and reading and with thought process so forgive me if what I typed does not make sense just ask me what I mean it is ok to ask. Now I have to figure out if I tell or how I tell my children.
