Instead of twerking or singing on American Idol, this show is full of people watching a childs memorization of the Holy Quran be rewarded and encouraged! Indonesia is the largest area of Muslims in the world. Very quite, humble people they have almost no violence, you dont even hear raised voices. I am so amazed by the sharp contrast in the quality and quanity of life for an incredible price. I am sure there are problems, this is not our final distination in life, but there are no police killing children in the street, no gang violence and people are nice even if its fake! The infratructure is there for those expats with just a minimal amount of resources. The language can be a challenge but you can buy an electronic translator! Out of all the places I have travelled through out the world, this place seems to offer the most for your money and spiritual peace.
