Instinct. Seeing a motorcyclist in the middle of the highway. Pulling your car over and doing CPR. PULSE came back. Medevac was on its way. Lord I feel like I was his guardian angel. I prayed for him and talked to him as I gave him chest compressions and felt a respirations try to come back. I couldnt open his airway good enough. His neck could have been broken. So many things. Secure the c spine. Everything. I read his stickers on his helmet. I stared at him. Blood was all over me. All over him. I am covered in mud. I hope I saved his life. Mizzou scrubs. Tomorrow I get baptized. God, is this a test!? I will forever put others before myself. All of this in the blink of an eye.
